I have to say I love Owens Elementary School! The parent teacher communication was about the best anyone could ever ask for! The whole school staff there are really great. And my daughter loved everyone she met there!
I mentored at Owens, and just by doing that I found out what a great school it is. The students who were on a risk of failing and most had home problems were ready to learn and improve their school work. The parents and teachers are involved in fund raisers for the PTO and care about the students. Great school environment!
Owens Elementary is a great school. Not only is it a great school, but it also has an excellent staff, PTO, caring parents, and eager children. Owens has teachers that try to get to know the parents and kids and also teach them everything they can. Once they leave Owens they are ready to face high school and take the caring environment with them through out their lives.
