My daughter went to Hillview from 3-5 and my son from K-5. The school doesn't get the recognition that it deserves. It was a great place for my kids. A few years back there were a few faculty members that wasn't up to par, but thankfully they are gone. Mrs. Terry and the other faculty are doing a wonderful. They really care about the students and its like being in one big happy family!!

Hillview Elementary School is a great school. The principal and staff are really focused on preparing the students for the future. I also agree that the facility needs a facelift - the school is pretty old. However, that does not stop the wonderful effort put forth to ensure our kids have a valuable foundation in primary education.

Hillview is a great school. The facility needs some update and repair but the teachers are the best. Hillview is one of those schools that does alot with very little. The teacher and the administration is very involved and there are always a number of activities for all grades. However, I would like to see more involvement from the parents. The PTA does a wonderful job with a handful of committed parents. I can only imagine how much more could be accomplished if more parents were involved on a regular basis.

Hillview Elementary is an EXCELLENT school. The teachers get personlly envolved and do everything possible to motivate and encourage the students. They have an excellent after school program in which they mentor students.
