My children were just recenlty enrolled in this school. We moved from Mississippi and loved the school that they attended there. I was reluctant to relocate them, but after meeting with the teachers I was pleasantly suprised by how welcoming they were and by how nice the students were. My children have adjusted really well to their new school and have made several new friends. My only complaint is with the community, if everyone would stop paying high prices to send their kids to the private schools then good schools like this could get more funding to provide better educational tools for the students.

I feel like the school does a good job with academics-- there is not enough humanities. I graduated in 1989, many years ago it seems, and we had Drama, numerous clubs, an effective Beta Club that was active, not just paying dues, school musicals, school plays, ect. There is not alot of things to do in Choctaw County for our children. We have to to go 35 miles for Karate, Ballet, or gymnastics, it seems we could get someone outside to come in and teach these things at the school after hours. Also I feel like the PTO could be more effective in helping some of the above happen-- a question I have always wondered is why do you not have more teacher involvement in PTO? It seems that would be part of their job?

I think that this school is doing extremely well in the academic part. It is severly lacking in the extracurricular activities. I think that music, art and other activities should be readily available to all students, not just those involved in the after school program. Otherwise, it's an awesome school.
