The school has great academic courses to choose from, the only thing is the courses that students do not recieve credits for. For those students that do pass all parts of the AHSGE, they go on a trip to six flags at the end of the year. For the one who said their child hasn't passed after 7 attempts, it's not the school's fault, they have remediation classes 2 weeks prior to the AHSGE, maybe you should try to help your child pass.
This school has a caring faculty who work very hard to improve their students' test scores and get them ready for college and work place. The feedback I have received from students has all been overwhelmingly positive.
This is a poor school for my children. They dont discipline enough, and they havent taught my child anything about the AHSGE. She has tajen it 7 times and still hasnt passed it.
I love this school, because the staff is very helpful and the student are very loving and helpful
School has definitely slipped. Leadership has created an oppressive atmosphere for students and teachers and runs roughshod over rules of respect. Rules through fear and whatever control he (principal) has.
Bibb County is the best school ever! I have learned so much in my time here. The teachers all care so much about us!
Bibb County High School is thebest i love my school and the teachers in it they are really supportive !
I think Bibb County High School has made a dramatic turnaround from before. Kids are learning, teachers are teaching and even the sports teams are doing great!
Bibb County High School has to deal with many problems. Apathy from the community has resulted in high drop out rate and little or no finacial support in the way of local taxes. However the teachers have found a way to keep this school afloat. They score somewhere in the average range on all of the test which measure academic achievement. Also a high percentage of their students go on to find success in college as well as being productive members of the work force.
I am a graduate of bibb county high school. The school has a good learning enviroment and a wonderful teaching staff
