My child has attend Chelsea schools since Kindergarten and we are pleased with her education thus far. ChMS has great leadership, teachers who challenge students and yet provide the leadership necessary for this age group of students. I wish she could have the same 8th grade teachers in high school, they were great! The amount of homework was overwhelming at times but she learned alot.

Hoover and Vestavia are great schools, but they have a lot of school violence. Chelsea is an amazing school. Maybe your kids just can't adjust with this environment. My daughter went to the middle school all three years, and she now has a 4.5 GPA. The teachers are amazing, and the extracurricular activities are great too. She was a part of the dance team and she loved it.

I am a student in the 8th grade now and I think the staff is Incredible. There are not too many rules, but just enough to set us straight. I am very happy with my school!

This is my daughter's 3rd year at ChMS and we are very happy. I also substitute teach there and have had only positive experiences as a parent & an employee. Very dedicated and caring staff & administrators.

My child who is going into the 8th grade has had a great 2 years thus far at Chelsea Middle. The principle, Mr. Harper has done an incredible job!

I too am a parent of a 6th grader at this school. There is good communication through STI program and some of the teachers even take the time to email me if there is a concern they have or I have. Involve yourself in the educational process.
