I think the teachers and staff are wonderful, and they have a really difficulty job trying to keep the kids intact. The parents and the kids whos parents don't really care about ther kids shows. It is the parents in this case who do not help. They need alot of cleaning in this school and it is a shame that the children suffer from the embarrassing way the school looks due to a lack of funds. I wish the Govenor would make them come clean this school inside and out. I know alot of people could help and clean even if this area is not upper middle class it does not have to look this way. I love the teachers .

I am really alarmed as to the lack of parental involvment in this school. Meetings at the school are extremely small to the lack of parents. I think it is good that they have required parent/teacher meetings, it requires parents to be involved in there childerns school work. The teachers all try to get parents to be involved, and most all teachers believe as I that with parent/ teacher partnership a child can reach the stars.

No parental support. They are a 'priority school' which means no field trips, etc until the 3-5 graders bring up their SAT's. How is a kindergartener not taking field trips going to affect the 3rd-5th graders SAT's? Kindergarten building was full of mold and mildew. They did come into repair it after I went to the superintendent after we transferred here in second quarter. They replaced ceiling tiles anyway. Apparently, during 4th quarter they came in and put in new gutters. The gutters were rotted out and had foot-high grass growing in them. Where were the rest of the parents when their children were in an extremely moldy building?? The teachers I have encountered are great but they receive no help from parents. I'm undecided on administration.
