Ah Watwood Elementary School

My child is new to the school. Although she loves her teacher, I find it very difficult to communicate with the teacher. I always have to contact the office for my questions and they really don't know the situation or know the answers. The Fall Festival activities were not planned out very well. Again, COMMUNICATION is not very strong in this school. The school also needs to be remodled. The gym is VERY old and is like a BIG shed. If we had more choices in C'burg, my child would probably go elsewhere.

Watwood elem. is a quality school. The teachers are very caring, and They challenge the students to do their best. The teachers work hard to push students forward who are excelling. They also take the extra time needed to help students who may be struggling. Watwood is a family friendly school where all children are loved.

I have a child who will be going into the 3rd grade at Watwood in 04-05. This is a great school. The administration is wonderful to work with and is always putting the needs of the students first. The teachers are the best. My child has learned so much while at Watwood. The teachers are very caring and highly qualified. They are willing to go the extra mile to reach their students. I would not consider sending my child to any other elementary school in Talladega County. Watwood has a strong PTO and the parent If you are looking for a place to get your child started right, then Watwood is that place!

I Love Watwood. I went to Watwood as a child and moved back to C'burg just before my oldest child started school. All three of my children are now enrolled at Watwood and will continue through school at Childersburg. We have great teachers in the C'burg school system. I am greatful for them everyday. My children love their school and wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
