Dauphin Island Elementary School

We have been at Dauphin Island Elementary for 2 years now and I cannot be more pleased. My children both stagnated in the typical larger school environment, but here they have plenty of opportunities to flourish and receive educational AND community awards which is super great! The school is small and focused with no behavioral issues <when compared to a larger school environment>. Each classroom has a smart board and 4th/5th graders even have laptops. The best part is that I have great peace of mind when I leave for work knowing that my children are safe with wonderful teachers and staff watching over them. We absolutely LOVE our little red schoolhouse on the sand!!

We look forward to joining the school in 2012. We were impressed when we toured the school. The teachers and staff were all helpful, informative and friendly. My kids are ready to meet some great new friends.

I moved my kids to Dauphin Island and one of them had to go to DI Elementary and I have to say it is a wonderful school. It amazes me how the staff knowes the children and shows much affection.

Dauphin Island School has a caring and nurturing environment. I have no complaints whatsoever. The classes are very small thus the students get more one on one time with their teacher.
