Beulah Land Christian Academy is a beacon of light in the Dothan and Wiregrass community. It has one of the top reading programs (they use the highly acclaimed ABEKA program). My son and daughter spent over four years at B.L.C.A. and by the time the left they were reading over 200 books a year! The staff is extremely professional and very caring to the children. The environment is very safe and clean. They make sure children are well feed and have several Arts and P.E. programs which stimulate the child's interest and ambitions. I always enjoy their youth choir, the children's poetry as well as the theatrical plays the children perform every year. B.L.C.A. makes better young people by placing an emphasis on providing a biblically based and supportive environment for their student. The student test scores always rank amongst the highest in the state....and my children who were once Beulah Land Babies continue to achieve at high marks at their elementary and middle schools. I know this is because of the great start they got at Beulah Land Christian Academy. I highly recommend Beulah Land Christian Academy. It is the best decision you could ever make for your child's future.

Serving as one of the founders and past Administrator of Beulah Land Christian Academy, I can say without hesitation that it is an institution of learning where the care, safety, and educational growth of each child enrolled is top priority. The proven A Beka Curriculum is used beginning with two year olds through fifth grade. At Beulah Land children are taught to be comfortable with who they are and to strive for "Excellence." Students who got their beginning at Beulah Land have and still maintain excellence in academics whereever they enroll afterwards. They are highly skilled readers and have great confidence in their own abilities in ALL subjects. Many go on to be chosen (through testing) for local magnet schools and repeatedly make honor roll at their respective schools. Teachers at the schools students attend after Beulah Land have been quoted as saying they can easily recognize Beulah Land students because of their academic abilities. The success of Beulah Land Christian Academy is attributed to the competent, loving, and Christian hearted administration and staff who work with the children daily. School motto, "Give your child a beginning with the end in mind, Excellence."

This school shouldn't be a school at all. The teachers are uncertified, they are overpriced and dont provide PE, Art Class, etc. They don't go on field trips or do regular school things. There is no consistency in work or curriculum. They don't have a lunchroom the custodial ladies serve food, they dont keep the girls bathroom cleaned my daughter received two bottom rashes from their unclean facility and the countless stomach viruses kids get there. The teachers also hit and snatch up the children. The staff bicker back and forth in front of the parents and that's not even half of whats wrong with this school!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
