Great school my grandson loves this school and everything about even the bus ride.
My children love Elberta Elementary. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to ensure my child's success. They make learning fun and I am glad to be a part of it all. Mrs. Blount does a great job with all the parents. I only wish they went to a higher grade!
My children have attended Elberta Elementatry for grades K through 3rd and I am so impresed by this school. On a comment about the children not going outside for P.E. that is false. I know the children are taken out everyday at some point in the day whether it is by P.E. or by their own teacher. The school has a walking track that gets lots of use by the students. The staff is very down to earth and makes the children feel very welcomed and loved. I also feel like the students are pushed to their highest academic level. I just wish that the elementary school was grades K-5th.
We love Elberta Elementary. The school is a warm, caring, and educational place to be. My child has never been happier. He is known and respected as an individual at Elberta Elementary. I love to volunteer and I see what is going on and it is all top notch. (Happy Grandparent)
so far, we are new, this school has been dissapointing. The new reward system does not allow for Dr.s excuses and is harsh for those not having enough tickets earned for the monthly party to go for small children, this is a self-esteem buster and poorly handled by the staff. I agree there is hardly any outdoor play. So far I have found them cliqueish and mostly concerned about federal dollars. a parent.
Both of my girls attend EES and we have been very pleased with the academics. The teachers are wonderful. The principal is very involved and knows each student and their needs. Children at elementary age have so much energy, they need to run and they need fresh air. Some teachers understand this and take their class outside and some do not. The county allows several field trips per year and few are taken. It is a privilege to go on an outing and the children deserve this. This is why parents volunteer. Overall EES cannot be beat. We love our school!/
Elberta Elementary School is the most amazing school that I have ever seen. The faculty is absolutely amazing! They truly care about making learning fun for the children and they make sure that they do in fact learn. They know each child by name and they do a great job of keeping the parents informed of all that goes on. The principal, the counselor, and the teachers are unlike anything I have ever experienced with a school. The teacher/student interaction is amazing. They really go the extra mile to ensure that each child feels special and is given the best education possible. I cannot say enough about Elberta Elementary School. It is so nice to know that there is still a school out there that provides that kind of love, caring, devotion and education to our most precious young minds.
This school does not have a P.E. program, unless you include watching videos. The children do not go outside. Most of the teachers are good, however it is time for some to retire. This school spends too much time on preparing for reading tests and are neglecting other subjects. The math scores of the national standardized tests are proof.
Elberta Elm School has been great.Very involved teachers who not only teach but are very positive role models for your child. Very open with you if you have any concerns, and very involved in the overall well being of each and every student. My daughter has more selfessteem and confidence since she started going to Elberta Elm School.I think it's great.
Excellent school ~ every bit as good as a private school.
