Sacred Heart is a great school that takes care of the student's spiritual, social, and educational needs. Everybody is treated equal and the kids grow up to be well rounded invididuals. I recently moved my kids to another school out of state and my family realized what a solid foundation they had at Sacred Heart. It is a small school and has taught my kids that school is also like family to them.
Sacred Heart is really nice. It provides a friendly, family style, positive environment. We have found it a pleasant contrast to the increasingly bureaucratic and numbers-driven public school system, which is more and more absorbed by various internal and external battles unrelated to teaching or learning. At Sacred Heart, the welfare of the children is still the central concern. The instruction is old fashioned and at times a bit dull; don't expect anything particularly creative or especially interesting academically. But the state mandated curriculum is covered thoroughly in a disciplined and straightforward manner, and that is a good deal in this age of dubious pedagogical experiments. Another important advantage of Sacred Heart is that your child will be going to school with an especially nice group of children who are, in particular, very welcoming to newcomers. The children function like siblings in an extended family, and there is no cliquishness.
