This is our second year at FDA, and our daughter loves it! The faculty and staff really care about my child, and the quality of education is top notch. I for one am proud that my family is part of the Fort Dale Nation

I am a parent of a FDA graudate. She is now a student at Auburn University and has done extremely well at a large university and I attribute that to the education she received at FDA. She will be a three year senior at AU next year. Thanks Mr. Brantley and the teaching staff for the quality education that FDA provides to the students.

I have had first hand experience, not only at FDA, but other AISA schools & public school as well. Compared to other AISA Schools, I think FDA does a great job preparing students for college & producing collge graduates. FDA is very well organized & efficient. FDA does have a history of having a 'grandiose, snobby atmosphere,' but a lot of the 'want to be' people have run their course. The bottom line is education, & I think FDA is ranked up there with Morgan & Monroe.

Best school the town but not equal to a college prep school. Environment is safe and close, but students complain of 'old money' favoritism amoung the teachers and staff. Student numbers have grown due to other cross town private school closing. Recommend looking at other schools either to the north or south of Greenville if you want better learning skills and college prep for your childern.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
