Okay so I am a student at Hackleburg High and who ever says that you will be disappointed going to Hackleburg must not have ever went to that school. Our school has the most best teachers, and most respectful students you will ever find. That is all I have to say.

My advice to anyone considering this school for their children, that may have an alternative school in mind, is choose the other option. You will certainly be disappointed at Hackleburg, and so will your children!!

I'm a proud graduate of Hackleburg High School !! personally I feel that some of the ones that commented on this site do not represent Hackleburg at all. I'm sure like all schools big or small there are things and situations that don't go like everyone would like for them too, but as a whole I believe Hackleburg is a great place to send your children. I'm very proud to send my children there, as a matter of fact my children are the 4th generation of my family to attend Hackleburg. I personal believe that we have gotten away from raising are children at home, and teaching them the way they are suppose to behave when they are out in public .Some parents are expecting the teachers to do the job of rasining their child. Thats not how it works people! lets help make the teachers job easiler.

Rate this school 1 star overall. Uncaring principle from out of state. Teachers could care less about teaching, they're more interested in downing students and ignoring them. That is all the teachers with exception of about three. Yeah out of all of them there are three that comes to mind that are different that the rest. Drugs are plentiful, learning is not.

I am a graduate of hackleburg and my children attend elementary school. I have been very disappointed with the teachers and the lack of respect for the students. I am also disturbed by the principals. You would be as well off talking to a tree than talking to either of our principals. You will always get the same answer, 'i'll handle it' and that's their answer to everything. No matter how big or how small the problem it does a parent no good to go to the principals and that is a sad reflection of our school.

Hackleburg School is a good school, with teachers that care about their students. Granted there are always some in every school that don't put forth the effort that others do. All teachers should not be put down for the actions or teaching of a few. Our school has had top scores in the county on many of the state test. My child has enjoyed his years at this school. He has received a quailty education, as well as understanding, friendship, and fairness at Hackleburg School. There are numerous teachers at this school that buy snack out of their own pockets for their students, as well as pay for them to participate in fun activities (field trips), without every receiving a thank you from the parent. I think the teachers at Hackleburg School do a great job!!

Hackleburg is a good small school. I like the small school with not as many academic and extra curricular opportunities instead of the larger school with so many negative opportunities. When examining the careers of Hackleburg graduates I am very happy to have my son be a student at Hackleburg High School. I have not had any problems with the teachers at either school but you must know that so far my son is very well behaved at school. Our school may have some faults but I had just as soon have our faults as the faults of other schools in the surrounding area.

Hackleburg is not a good school if you are looking for oppurtunities. The principal does not believe in any type of fun and everyone hates everyone else. The teachers sit and talk about students from other classes then fuss because students aren't respectful enough. I think some of the teachers need to get their act together and focus on their job not what they can gossip about next.
