Haleyville has a high standard of excellence. They have dedicated teachers, coaches, administrators and support personnel. All this combined with great students makes for an excellent school.

I love Haleyville Schools so much we moved back from Tuscaloosa, Al so our children could get a better education at a school where people care and teach them responsibility and put the spotlight on teaching academics as well. Great school!!!!!!!

I too am a graduate of Haleyville High and got a great education! I also believe that a huge part of getting an education is determiend by the effort that a student is willing to put forth.

I am a graduate of Haleyville High School and I have to disagree with both of the other reviews. My sister is not connected to any of the admin, does not attend first baptist, and isn't one of the 'rich' kids and she's a cheerleader! All students have equal rights! Sure there are a few teachers that may do more for the 'rich' kids but do you honestly think that's not in every other school in the world? I got a wonderful education at Haleyville and would recommend that school system to anyone!

We have had 3 students at this school, their has been many things that was not done right. The board and the school facility is sending a message out to the students that if they parent is not connected to the school or they don't have money they are nothing at this school. The teachers and the leaders make a huge inpact on the students. Most of the impact that i have seen is bad. The leaders should have a back bone to stand up for what is right.

This school could be really great. There are too many politics involved. If you are not a connected to the school, (teacher admin. or board) or attend First Baptist, your is not given equal opportunity to participate in sports no matter how good he or she may be. I am a parent and also a former student.
