Our school has wonderful teachers and great community involvement. The school PTO works hard to support students, teachers, and administrators. Test scores remain high year after year. Hokes Bluff Elementary School is a great place for ALL children!

Some of the teachers are excellent! However, there are some that really need to retire and the teachers cater to the children of the other teachers at the school. The star student is a great idea if the teachers didn't always choose the other teachers children first. You pat my back I'll pat yours. Some of the teachers need to go back to school and update there teaching styles. Not all children learn by independent work, writing spelling words 90 times a week and oral lecture. Get out of the 80's and up to date. Engage children with more technology. You might actually reach the ones that really need it. The smarter children need challenging and the slower ones need help. NOT ALL CHILDREN ARE PERFECT AS THE CHILDREN OF THE TEACHERS!!!!!

The dictatorial staff and administration are ridiculous. If you or your spouse do not work in the school, then your children will be treated differently than those that do
