I have no opinion on this topic because I have not experienced it at this point.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. This is the most infuriating thing about this school and also where their integrity is seriously lacking. They tell parents one thing, then completely deny it. They will fight to avoid intervention at all costs. IF a plan for intervention is developed, it WILL be the parents' responsibility to make sure that the child is receiving the additional assistance and is making progress.

"Leadership" is non-existent. Unless leadership is defined as an incompetent staff that uses any excuse to try and exhibit their authority. If you attempt to speak with the actual principal he either does not respond or cannot be bothered.

The administrators and office staff are dictators who are incredibly disrespectful and exhibit a "God complex". Common sense is not a factor in the decision-making, everything is either black or white. I certainly can't imagine that they are instilling a sense of integrity in our children, considering it is not something that the faculty seems to practice in regard to their teaching methods.

If your child is "important" in some way, then they might get more involvement. Otherwise, be prepared to continuously ensure that they are doing their job.

Personally, I believe that elementary age children should not be burdened with homework. However, I will say that in my experience, the homework has not been excessive.

This school is extremely "cliquey" and unless you are involved with the school 24/7 buddying up with the staff (or happen to be a big fish in a small pond) then they will make everything difficult for you. The office staff is incredibly rude, everything is unorganized and there is a serious lack of effective communication. The teachers I have encountered appear apathetic and try to get by with doing the least amount of work that they can. If you have a concern, be prepared for the administrators to talk down to you (if they decide to respond at all).

Many of the teachers are effective if they were not born and raised in the Hokes Bluff area or their mother and father teach also and got them the job.

Homework Homework Homework is all they know and lots of it. What happen to a kid being a kid. They have no time to with all of the homework

The two administrators seem to argue and fight more than instill honesty and integrity in the students.
