I taught at the Seldon Center and have friends that still teach there. Mr. Harris is no longer the principal there. The teachers there do truly care about teaching the students what they need. However, I think that it should be noted that this is an At-Risk school where students are sent who have problems. They have excessive absences; behavior problems; pregnancy; etc. The Huntsville City School homebound program is run through the Seldon Center. There is a night school with remedial classes to help some students re-take classes they have failed and still get the credits they need to graduate.
Dr. Harris and the other teachers in this school are great they really treat the students like their own children and im so greatfull that my child attends the Seldon Center.
Mr. Harris is wonderful to work with. He truly cares about each student and spends many hours at the school to ensure students meet their requirements.
