All of ours have attended here and when we pulled the olderest they struggled to catch up in the public school because they (child) were so far behind. This is our last year, we're pulling the others out so we can go ahead and get them on track to get the education they need. The elementary is great the first few years. I understand why people put them here when they first move to the area. After talking to others most of the people that went here themselves are putting their's in public school. Academic just doesn't seem to be priority and it gets worse as they get older.

It seems they worry more on athelitics than academic and it's starting to show by the loss of enrollment. With so many leaving we've decided we will be taking out our children as well. So many have left and a lot are leaving afte this year. Education is the most important thing in a childs life and we want all of ours to have it and that's not here. With the economy as it is people are having trouble as it is but they raise everything unlike the other private school in this county. It has more to offer in education and extra curricular and cheaper in the long run.

JA is a wonderful school! i have been going there for 12 years and have loved every minute of it! Since the school is small you build close relationships with classmates and teachers that you cant have anywhere else. Its also great that you get to pray in school and not worry about be caught! Jackson Academy is a wonderful school!!!

I graduated from Jackson Academy and now have kids who have attended school there for 7 years now. We love the school and all the staff at the school. The academics are good and some areas are improving like all schools. We are very excited about the new headmaster and think the school is headed in the right direction.

My daughter is new to the school and lovessss it. We transfered from a public school where she took advanced classes and top ten in her class. She says the school work is the same and the teachers are teaching her not throwing the work at her. The class is smaller and you have one on one with the teacher. Everyone has really been so nice and making sure she stays on the right track for college. We wish we would have moved her along time ago. The sports program is great and looking forward to two more years. Go Eagles

This school was the biggest waste of money. I feel guilty that I ever wasted my childrens critical learning years in this so called school. The high school course work and testing is a joke. I feel that all I paid for is a glorified babysitter. I am afraid that my children are not prepared for the real world.

Jackson Academy is not preparing students for institutions of higher learning. Their science lab is limited and they do not have have the staff to offer advanced foreign language classes. Students who are not able to pass the exit exam at the local public schools are filling up the school and this is causing a dumbing down of the class work so that they can pass.
