It's not enough activities for the kids to do. Everybody don't play sports. My children go there but I don't like it its just the closer to home rite now.

McIntosh High School is really headed in the right direction since Dr. Joannee Barnes took over. She's just what the school and the town need. I visited home for homecoming, and the change in attitude and environment was evident and in the air.

Mcintosh high school is an excellent learning enviroment that is not given enough credit. Although there is negativity, the positivity defintely outweighs it all. Throughout the years mcintosh has improved tremendously. The teaching staff, discipline, academic and athletic programs, along with their docile students are all something that should be praised. I will unfortunately not be able to say i was a graduate from mhs, but i am an alumni. If mcintosh keeps up the good work, more blessings will be in store! i am now a high school senior that appreciates the lessons that mhs has given me. So in conclusion, congradulations mhs (state champs!)

'I attend McIntosh High School and without the state always breathing down our neck we are an excellent school. The state puts to much pressure on our teachers and stresses them out like all the lesson plan ideas. Our teachers has to spend more time on the lesson plans rather than teaching in the classroom. All of us has to give something to get something. You can't expect an overnight change to happen and no one hasn't done anything. Everytime you think about putting our school down you first have to put yourself down because you haven't done anything to help.' -Kandice Johnston

I attended McIntosh High from the sixth grade until graduating with an advanced diploma with honors. I feel that the faculty and staff at McIntosh High gave me the necessary education to prepare me for furthering my educational experiences. McIntosh High has probably produced more college graduates than any other high school in Washington County, and has prepared their graduates for a terrific start in life. Many parents send thier children to other schools, and that's fine, but you must remember that we are still a county and you shouldn't put any school down, especially those of you who graduated from McIntosh High school. There are fine teachers all over this county and they cannot do it all by themselves. Everything starts at home and parents have got to help the faculty and staff to ensure that their child will get the best no matter where they attend school. Nick Johnston

I went to this school from the sixth grade until the ninth grade. It is a fun school, but the involvement between teachers and students, gives this school a not-so-good reputation. there is a good principle, and a few good teachers. There is one paticular teacher that does not teach that good, it is more like the students teach her. It has nothing against her as a person, only her teaching. Another paticular teacher is very good at his job. He he;ps the students as much as he can. He helped me become a better person, just by staying on my back all the time. I want to say: Thank you to Mr. Renard Davis.
