The principle is firm and strong on the dress code. We need more principals like him!

After attending Dale County High School for four years I am proud to see that the school is on the rise. The school has undergone remodeling and faculty changes(some I didn't really agree with) and really seems to be coming around.

DCHS is, in my opinion, one of the best-kept secrets in education in lower Alabama. We are not perfect, to be sure, but as a smaller school we do not have many of the problems of our larger schools with 'better' reputations. Our faculty works hard and cares about our students because, being a small school we know our students. This keeps many of the 'typical' problems schools today encounter at a minimum. Our academic standards are second to none for a school with our demographic makeup. Students from our school compete against students from across the country in activities such as the National Stock Market Simulation. DCHS has dominated the top ten in that competition for the past five years. Last year one-fourth of our senior class won academic scholarships to college. We are a small school, but we are second to none.

Overall this is a ok school. it would be better if they would keep the teachers that are working and don't get rid of of just the new ones becouse they might turnout just as good as the ones that are there now.
