My daughter has been going to Knollwood for a year, and so far we've been totally happy. It has a Christ-centered environment, and the faculty really knows each child and seems to genuinely care about them. I'm also very happy that the school is a little more diverse than any of the other private Christian schools in the area.

Academically a good school but very poor athletically. If your children excel in sports this is not the school for you. They have no qualified coaches on their staff.

Knollwood Daycare, Elementary and Middle School are excellent! The teachers and administrators really care not only about the student's academic growth, but also their social, emotional, moral and especially spiritual growth. They are especially attentive during that difficult period of adolescence by holding up a moral compass to help guide the students. I highly recommend KCS to anyone and everyone

As a former parent of a middle school student at Knollwood, I can say that this school was the best educational experience of my son's school career. He was challenged academically and became a more confident student. Two of his favorite teachers are still teaching at Knollwood. Knollwood is small enough to retain a family feeling but large enough to offer enhancements to the curriculum(Spanish, music, art,Accelerated Reader). I can highly recommend Knollwood to anyone who wants an academically advanced education in a loving and caring environment.

I am extremely pleased with Knollwood Christian. The teachers are highly qualified as well as very loving. The academics are well above anything the public schools have to offer and the overall environment is highly conducive to the children's overall success; academically, socially, physically and spiritually. I have three children who are very different, but each one is reaching their full potential thanks to the school's and teacher's ability to help each child be their best. The elementary school curriculum includes music, Spanish, art, chapel, library and organized P.E. The middle school offers a well rounded sports program as well as an excellent curriculum. The PTF (parent/teacher fellowship) works hard to help the school and parent involvement is encouraged and fostered. You can't find a better elementary / middle school in Mobile!

I think Knollwood is the best school. I've never seen a school with so many positives. Mrs. Guy is the most amazing principal, she knows the names of all the students and is so caring and understanding. The teachers are absolutely the best, especially Ms. Lacey and Mr. Bray. They really challenged my daughter to excel in her work. My daughter just begin KCS in the 7th grade and it's been the best thing we could have ever done for her. The Christian environment, the education is just so far ahead of public schools that we could not believe it. It is such a family environment and most of the kids have been there forever. They all treated us like we had been there forever too. I have a son who will start K5 this year and I'm looking so forward to him getting his education KCS.

Knollwood Christian School is an excellent environment for any child. The teachers are dedicated and truly care about the students. Mrs. Guy, is a caring christian, who is an excellent principal. The school has a family feel and is small enough (around 400 students) that the principal truly knows every student's name. The PTF is an awesome parent group that does so much to enhance the school environment. The ABEKA curriculum excels in reading and math, usually at least one year ahead of public schools. The athletic program is growing and includes baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, volleyball and cheerleading. KCS also has art, music and spanish classes for all elementary students. Overall, this is an excellent school with a christian spirit that illuminates the halls! I would highly recommend Knollwood to anyone. My family has been part of the KCS family for 5 years and counting and we love it!
