My son is a first grader at Crump Elementary and he has a learned a great deal. His teacher, Ms. Shannon is great and she has taught him a great of amount of discipline and respect in additon to the great education he is receiving. Crump does not offer much in the areas of music, art, or other extracurriular activities because I think many funds from the Board of Education are placed in the Magnet Schools. I believe that with more extracurricular activities, it will increase parental involvement.

my daughter's teacher is a better teacher then she had last year. they focus too much on test scores, instead of letting the kids mature and find there potential. my daughter for one, has had a better school year this year. she is a summer baby, and they focused so much on her immaturity. now she has blossomes, and become one of the brightest in her class.
