E.D. Nixon is a great school with a Great principal and staff. I enjoy working at Nixon. We just need more positive parental involvement.
There are some good teachers at Nixon, but they are overshadowed by the high school social environment of its other teachers. I believe they need a strong figure at the top and Mr, xxxxx is a good Principal if he has compliant teachers, but since he has immature teachers he needs to drop the hammer and stop being such a nice guy!
Principle Thompson and her team are truly wonderful. They care about the children's learning abilities, as well as their mannerism. You all are truly appreciated for all your hard work. Thanks, B. Morris
I think this school is one of the best in Montgomery, Alabama. The principal is awesome and the teachers are just as awesome. The children seem to enjoy learning.
I think E D Nixon has the potenial to be one of the best schools in Montgomery. With a combined effort of the administrative staff, teachers, students and parents, I feel we can accomplish anything. Although extracurricular activities are important, I think we should concentrate on achieving higher academic levels. Please lets not forget our kids with learning disabilities and behavorial challenges. I don't feel enough is begin done to help these student in our school system as a whole not just at Nixon.
