For the area MES is one of the better schools . I feel though that they concentrate on looking good on paper any many of the individual student needs are being over looked.
My daughter has been going to Moundville Elementary School for a year and a half now. I am very pleased with the teachers, staff, and principal. When we moved here I did not know how very poor the school system is. The school building itself is falling down around the wonderful students and staff. I do not like the building and I wish there was a simple solution to fix it. The parent involvement is also poor. But as I said in the beginning of this review the teachers and staff are doing a wonderful job. My 7 year old daughter tells me she loves her teachers and staff but the building is horrble.
