Honesty, integrity and fairness at Southview. All students treated fairly. They take music and art classes. They learn to get along with each other. They take bullying seriously by talking to students and parents. They learn responsibility by keeping track of their library books. They teach each other to love and respect each other.

We sent our child to a private school for kindergarten but decided that was just not the right fit for us. When we switched to Southview, our child had to work hard to get "caught up" with her peers who attended kindergarten at Southview. This was extremely telling for us. We have been thrilled with the decision to put her in Opelika City Schools and we are grateful to have such a wonderful (and nurturing) environment for our child's education.
