My grandson goes to this school and he loves it. It is really important to me that a school is not only excellent academically but a place the students want to attend.
We love everything about this school so far. Moving my daughter to VCS is the best thing we could have ever done!
My little girl loves going to school at Victory. She's in the preschool. It's her first school experience and she has learned so much.
I attended this school for over half the time I was being educated. I cannot tell how much I enjoyed my time at Victory Christian school. The teachers were amazing, very supporting, the discipline was enforced enough to have the students respectful, yet not trembling in fear. I grew in my walk with my Jesus while attending this school, and I thank each and every teacher and staff member. Victory Christian School is absolutely incredible, and their mission statement is true. If you have children, this is absolutely the place to send them.
I graduated from VCS a couple of years back. I would highly recommend this school! While in school there were some rules I didnt like and some teachers, but looking back I wouldnt change a thing. I am in my second year of College now with all A's and have helped many of my class mates. English 101 and Math 100 felt like a review for me, as for my classmates(who attended public school) they were struggling the very first day and alot had to drop to the lower math, that does not even count as a college credit!! The academic part can be hard or stressful but now I am very grateful to all my teachers!!! I already know this will be the school my children will attend!!
I am very pleased with the Christian education my two children are receiving. The teachers are great and willing to go the extra mile the help. My son is in third grade and has only 12 students in his class which allows his teacher time to help each child. My daughter is in the ninth grade and enjoys working on the yearbook. I would recommend this school to anyone.
I have children who attended VCS from K4-highschool. I am not pleased at all with the leadership and 'so called christian' environment. The school sends a very judgemental message to young people who are struggling. This school is for someone wanting a private education, not christ-centered!
My daughter is a fragile sort and had experience some overly aggressive reprimands from another school in town....but this school has changed her image of learning and participating. We love it here and will truly miss it when we move to Oklahoma in the next year. I've never felt more at ease leaving my child in the hands of Victory Christian Schools....thank you for your wonderful teachings and blessed attitude.
They are way too stirct and have pathetic stupidly enforced rules that make no since at all. I went there and graduated from there and got a great education... But the rules they try to enforce are pathetic and stupid...
We love Victory. Our son is not only getting a quality education, but he is growing in his walk with the Lord. I highly recommend sending your child to Victory.
I have 4 children ages 4-18. We have attneded Victory for the last 11 years. We love the school from preschool to high school. The administration and teachers are committed to the students spiritual and academic success. We are truly blessed to have a school like Victory Christian School.
My son is in the 4th grade and reading at a high school level already (according to SATs). His teachers have all been great and he has good Christian friends. As a parent I have been blessed by being around the other parents here.
I would not recommend Victory Christian School to anyone. My son attended the school from k-5 to 4th grade. The Christian environment and education leave a great deal to be desired. Bullying is a daily activity. We basically taught at home after school and when we left his reading skills were at a second grade level. Talk to other families in the community before you enroll your child. There is a lot less bullying and peer pressure in the public school system. Academics are not nearly as tough as what parents think. Comments on the school are highly overrated just ask parents who are homeschooling to catch their children up. Don't waste your money.
This was a wonderful school. However, one of the teachers was not good at all. The principal was a great person, but did not respond to a problem. I went to VCS all my life until 8th grade. It is great for younger children though.
This a great school. My daughter loves it and not only does she get an academic education, but she enjoys the freedome to pray whenever she wants. This school truly is a blessing.
I have experienced this school from age 2 to the second grade. There could not be a better environment for a child to grow in all aspects....academically and spiritually! I am not one that is impressed easily. I am a teacher in another school district and have experienced first hand the differences in schools. I hope to graduate both my children at VCS. I do not regret my decision at all! The teachers keep me well informed with notes home and an internet site for communication and to see every grade and behavior so that I can praise or work on something that needs attention. I am trying to think of something that needs improvement.....there has been no problems so far and anything I think of sounds too nit picky to mention. My kids love it there and I feel very comfortable leaving my most precious children in their hands.
My son has been at Victory for 3 years and has grown in confidence and academic ability. I think there are always some dissatisfied people at every school, but I have found that the staff and families at VCS are an encouraging group of people. Academics are tough, just ask the high schoolers.
My child just finished his first year of HS and will be going into the 10th grade in the fall(He previously Homeschooled and this was his first year of school). We are very pleased with the school & most of the faculty. There are some teachers (as with most schools) that we seem to have had some problems with. The Baseball Program was excellent! The team finished a very surprising 3rd in the 1A class for the state of Alabama.
I am actually a parent of a soccer player whose team provided the opposition for a game at Victory Christian. Naturally, I cannot give any detail at all about the school itself but what I can tell you is as follows. Every child/student I ran accross smiled and spoke well. The interior of the school, where we temporarily had to go due to inclement weather, was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Outside of each classroom showed who the teacher was and assorted awards/honors associated with that particular class. Every adult I ran into, be it coach, parent or staff member was very polite, helpful and caring. The soccer team was poor, really poor, but it did not matter, I saw kids happy and laughing, having a good time. Whatever the ingredients may be, the product that Victory Christian produces is a tremendous product and I wish them all the best.
We started out with our first son in the preschool. We were very happy with the teachers. Each day he came home singing songs, talking about things he had learned, including stories about Jesus. We continued to enroll him after preschool. He has just finished K5 and is doing so well. His kindergarten teacher was so organized, committed to teaching the curriculum, and kind that we had a great year. With my job I am in and out of a lot of schools. Victory is definetly one of the very best out there. I highly recommend Victory Christian School as a school of academic excellence.
