This is a great school. The teachers are great as well as the administrators. It is clean, orderly, and safe. Students consistently rate it as one of their favorite schools...including my two sons. But because the school is located on the other side of town and use to be the historically black high school, it suffers from an unfair perception problem. It is not a student perception problem but rather a parent perception problem...most of who have never stepped foot in the school. These parents simply need to grow up, be honest, and examine their own suppressed racist views. By the way, I am white and very proud to have sent my children to this school.

Well this school is a very great school for learning. But the only thing that people might have a problem with is the location because it is in the hood. The kids there are very nice and friendly. We have lots of thing to do at this school we have some of the nicest teachers and if you are not good at making friends you can make some. Also, you might want to bring your own lunch because it is nasty! Thank you

My son was skeptical at first about this school. He has been in private school in Phenix City his whole life. He has been there two weeks and loves it already. The school offers a lot of different and fun electives. (Robotics, archery in PE, drama) Even in the school we were paying through the nose for, these things were not available. The faculty is very nice and helpful. The administrators really try to make you feel welcome. Great school!!
