I didn't like one of the kindergarden teacher's there, because when I enrolled my son, I told the teacher that my son had a small bladder and sometime's he had to use the restroom at different time's other then all together. The teacher said she would make sure of it she didn't my son was sent into the hallway and made fun of, and told that he stunk. I don't think any child should feel bad for having a small bladder (something that he can't help). I didn't agree with this teacher's way's and I told her so, when my mother went to my son's grandparents day the same teacher was very rude with her, and I didn't appreciate that at all. I have talked to the principal and other's that were in charge and it didn't seem to do any good. My son is now in the first grade and in a MUCH better school, he is actually learning something now, and not being made fun of because he has a small bladder.
My son just finished his last year at Knight Enloe, and i just want to saythat we have totally enjoyed our four years. They came and went so quick, which is so sad.Knight Enloe is a very good school they have the best reading program, better than any oter in the city or county in my opinion. The teachers are some of the best i have ever met.I did not have one problem talking or communicating with any of my childs teachers.Everyone at Knight Enloe are 100% commited to education. If you have the option to send your child to this school you will not regret it!! I want to thank everyone at Knight Enloe for all that they have done for my child, and i look foward to my youngest starting there in a few years.
This are my kids first year here. I have really loved it. The teachers really care about the kids education. The teachers keep me notified and involved in everything about my kids. It is a GREAT school and has some of the best teachers.
KES is the best! It is used as a role model for their reading program. Teachers do involve parents, it is the parents who will not come, answer the phone, sign homework, discipline the child, etc. If you have not been to this school and walked the halls, you have missed a lesson in spirit, learning, and team work. WOW! They are great. Teachers bust their humps to teach these children, many who are academically and economically challenged. I think they are the greatest teachers anywhere. Just remember when your child can read well, it was a teacher who helped them.
I have seen much better schools with much better teacher parent relationships. Most teachers at this school do not want input from the parents, they give off the attitude that they are criticizing their abilities as a teacher. Not all the teachers here are that way, but for the majority they are and unfortunately even a few bad teacher give the whole a bad name. Teachers need to get back to teaching instead of baby sitting and our kids would be much better off and people like me that can not afford private school but opt for it for the benefit of my children would not have to struggle to make sure the kids get the quality education that they so deserve.
I have a seven year old girl who will go to second grade and a five year old who will start kindergarten. My oldest really enjoys Knight Enloe. She is looking foward to anew year.T he teachers here are really great. They enjoy there job and the childrens education is there top goal. We have a lot of parent participation. I think that this is just as imporant as good teachers. I have really enjoyed being apart of Knight Enloe and I know that my children will always remember the education, love and compassion they recieve at Knight Enloe Elementary.
