JTMA is an exceptional school. My children are challenged on a daily basis to be the best they can be, academically and athletically. Q: Do they have a rigerous schedule, absolutely! They're not running the streets looking for something to occupy their time - their time is occupied with great constructive activity. Q: Are expectations for them set high, absolutely - and their rising to the occasion! I'm very proud of them both. Morgan Academy is a college prepatory school - their approach isn't "if" they go to college, it's "when" they go to college - will they'll be prepared to be successful. I'm very impressed with the continuous number of academic awards and accomplishments the school keeps receiving. I'm also very impressed with the number of national, state and community leaders that graduated from Morgan! Walter Givhan, the two star general who graduated from Morgan, Mr. Al Stewart of Pilcher McBride who's son Jamie who flies for the Air Force, Dr. Todd Sherrer, Dr. Abby Elliott Tucker, Dr. Brett Wood. We're good - I think we'll take our chances. Thank you Morgan for all you do!

Morgan Academy might have a great education system, but this school teaches no character at all. They have hardly any interaction with other races. Other races are so intimidated to come to this school because Morgan Academy's students and alumni discourage it. Everyone says that Morgan is the best school in this area but the students at this school are no better than public school kids when it comes to drugs, alcohol, and other activities.

Morgan Academy = excellence! One big family that cares for one another. My husband, our 3 sons...and 2 grandsons have/are attending. Hopefully, all my future grandchildren will be fortunate to attend as well.

This is a nice school and a large family in itself. Parents and teachers work hard so the students will be their best. My children attend now and love it. My family are graduates of Morgan Academy. One of us left Morgan to graduate with a 4.0 from the University of Alabama , one attended Vanderbilt University, And I went on to Samford University. The teachers do provide the students with the tools and desire. Parents encourage their children to continue on with this academic success. I know my children will have the same opportunity as us with their Morgan Academy knowledge. The sky is the limit.

I transferred my child from public school to Morgan a few years ago. It has a good learning enviroment. We had no trouble fitting in. I can't say that the classes are harder but I do feel there is more competition among the students to try and do well.

This is a very nice school the teachers can be pretty strict and give lots of homework but a good school.I think we need some younger teachers though(i think it would help)

Excellent school that allows the students that want the most out of their education to achieve it.

The school is a college prep school. As far as academics the courses are hard, homework is heavy, and the kids are under a lot of stress to 'make it'. Because the school is too concerned about how they (the school iteslf) looks on paper, and how they rate with other schools. Building character, teaching life skills, morals, respect, compasion, and kindness aren't even considered as a 'need' to make it once you graduate. As long as the school looks excellent on paper and turs out kids with good GPA's they could care less if they taught a child any character skills. Because the school does not think this is important many of the teachers won't or can't show they posess these type character traits either, which is one reason so many kids find it difficult to learn and struggle.

As a graduate and as a parent of kids who attend Morgan, I can honestly say Morgan is without a doubt the best school in the area. I was very well prepared for college when I graduated and my children will be well prepared also.

Terrible school. Most teachers dont know to much about the subject they are teaching. The Headmaster sat in his office all day doing nothing. Glad i finally got out of there.
