Over all Stevenson Elem is a great school. My two girls have had a few great teachers....of course there will be a bad apple or two in every bunch. I do agree with the review previously posted about the inability to escorting your child in and out of school and this is one thing I do not agree with. Otherwise, I believe both my childern are getting the education that they can build on for the rest of their lives!

If your child is a car rider, plan on waiting at least 35 minutes to drop them off and 45 to 1 hour to pick them up in the afternoon. Also this school does not allow the parents to escort his or her child to any classroom after the 3rd day of school. Parent volunteerism is frowned, does not create an environment that encourages parent involvement nor does the school encourage family values.

My son attends school here as did my other son. This school has a very high quality of teachers who give kids that extra little push they need to succeed in whatever course of study they are in. They are also at the same time very caring. They have not been known to give up on a child just because they need that extra push.
