I am a former student of the "great" BCHS - the class of 1995. However, I do not agree with the other reviewers. Bullock County High is far below the standard when compared to other schools within Alabama. It does not prepare you for colleges and universities outside of the HBCU system. The classes offered at BCHS are not to level to given its students a far chance to compete with students from other schools. Stop teaching the test, advance to the 21 century, offer better courses and prepare the children for more than what is around them.

I graduated in the top ten percentage of the '94 class at bullock county high. I received the necessary tools to equip me in the advancement of my education upon living high school. We as alumns must continue to give back via of providiing after school programs, encouraging the school counselors like Barbara Larkin to do more. And to the parents, get involved in your child(ren) live(s) and encourage them to be better than you were.
