Sheldon Point school is a vital part of the community. School personnel participate is all events in the community and provide needed services far beyond educating the children. The teachers are highly qualified and make every effort to teach each child on his or her level of achievement and ability. The small staff prohibits many extracurricular activities. The community wants a sports program and that is available to all students. The school is always willing to help out in times of trouble, with gas, heating oil, use of the shop, educational support of adults, free books. The children are provided with healthy food, shower facilities, and all school supplies free of charge. This is a small school in a small village. The school goes far beyond what is required to be a helping part of community.
