Wonderful staff, awesome layout, surronded by AK wild trees with wildlife wandering through. How many gradeschools have to have 'moose duty' to make sure the playground is free of moose for recess!?

My teenager went here for 2 years and enjoyed most of it. The teachers that she had were great. My youngest child is still going there and we continue to get reams of information and she is thriving in the environment.

I actually moved to keep my children from having to attend this school for a second year! My normally *straight A* children suddenly became 'C level problem children'. My daughter who excels in school both educationally, and socially would cry each day because she was so unhappy at this school.

This school has a high level of parent involvement. The principal knows each student by name and often gives compliments in passing on how great his speach was or that he noticed his reading skills have improved. He is very uplifting. My son's teacher is very friendly and outgoing. He gets all the kids involved and gives them a lot of large projects to work on. ie: build a model of a famous structure, reasearch it and make a poster board with info about it in catchy word boxes, maps and photos. The 6th graders have 2, two day long lessons at the Campbell Creek Science Center and one overnight excursion to the Challenger Space Center. They have band, orchestra, and choir and a special after school reading program for those that need extra help in that area just got started. My son thrived there.
