FPCS has the potential to be a national leader in providing a program that offers a truly individualized approach in the all-around educational success of it's students; but like all Charter's nationwide will have to survive the bureaucracy that's focused on stricturing legislative intent in order to have far more control than reasonably works to meet the goals and intent of both the charter and of legislative intent. FPCS is chartered by the Anchorage School District until 2003(?), and hopes are that parent teachers will maintain enough freedom and control of their children's educations to keep it functional in it's intended setting (the home). FPCS manages to provide the BEST funding in the state per student (hundreds above the others); offers quality teachers who are on goal as sponsors; and allows a wide range of options for curriculum and learning opportunities.
