My family loves this school. It is in a wonderful family focused neighborhood and the staff and parents are all very friendly and welcoming. Everyone makes an effort to call your child by name from the cross guard to the classroom. Our child is part of the lottery school within a school "Bowman Open Optional' and it is fabulous. They really do teach to the 'whole' child. The teachers are experienced and work together as a team. The parent involvment is huge and that allows for lots of fun learning activities in the classroom, within the whole school, as well as multiple field trips each year

Bowman is not good school. The teacher's tell you one thing the grades show other.

Bowman is a great school. Each year my children have had caring, engaging teachers that work with my children to help them to succeed. I am so thankful to all the help and support that they have given my children.

Bowman Open Optional Program allows/requires the children to think about what they are learning. They are taught to research, reflect, and question information.

I have been a teacher at this school for 15 years. It is full of caring, positive staff. students and parents. We get so many subs who request to come back to our building because 'it feels good to be here'. I agree.

My daughter is autistic and she has had the most wonderful teachers and aids since she started preschool. She is doing very well and all of her teachers at Bowman deserve recognition.

We've had teachers, a speech specialist, music teacher, gym teachers, librarians, and computer teachers do an awesome job with my kids. They really love their school.
