Chugiak is a great school with fabulous teachers. The Spanish immersion program is excellent and my daughter loves this school. I would recommend it for any family to look into. The school is very inviting for the children and parents and the principal is great, which filters down to the teachers.
I was really struggling on whether to enroll my daughter in a 'public' school. I finally enrolled her in the Spanish Immersion program at Chugiak Elementary. I have to say as of right now I am really impressed with the patience of teachers and structure they have developed. My daughter loves going to kindergarten.
I love this school. My kids have a great time and enjoy going everyday. The PE activities offered after school are great and fill up very quickly. Parent involvement is impeccable. This is, in my opinion the best school in the area and that is evident in the number of kids in the school.
