This school has the best atmosphere of any school I've ever worked. Everyone at the school is working towards what is best for students.

This school is great!! the luchroom rules are ok but they should let kids sit any where they want to, other then that, the school is great. Good gym program, a ok social studies teacher, great math english and art teacher.

This school is very good. It is almost perfect, but it has just a couple of little problems. The teachers are avarage(some are awesome, but some don't care about their kids at all. The rules at lunch are a little weird too. Everything else, though, is absolutely amazing. Very very safe, everyone is good at math, and you can also go to a higher math class if you want to.

Tanana was great. The teachers were awesome and I never had any issues. The disipline is good too. Middle school is middle school so take with a pinch of salt.

The math program is very bad, and they only have one teacher to chose from, so if the teacher is not good enough the kids do not have any other choices. They need more teachers that actually care about the students.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Alaska used the Standards Based Assessment (SBA) to test students in grades 3 through 10 in reading, math and writing, and in grades 4, 8 and 10 in science. The SBA is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Alaska. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.
