My daughter has gone to this school for 3 years. She has always done well. The school does a lot to have after school family fun nights, movie night, arts and crafts night, and before and after school activities such as guitar lessons and knitting, a family knitathon, and after school bus shuttles kids to swim lessons once a week if you enroll. In addition to that, my daughter comes home with a homework packet every week. She has hard spelling words and math that she needs my help with. I love it because she is being challenged. Parents get a letter to initial every week for missing work. Kids have incentives for reading 4 books every quarter, neon bowling ore ice skating. This school is everything I expect and more. Also, there are minorities here but I have never witnessed any racial problems. Just thought I would throw that in there because it might be important for someone. The only problem is that they almost never have snow days. The wind can be downing power lines and the lights in the school flicker but they still have school. Occasionally they have weather optional days if you choose to keep your child home it's excused. They have indoor recess when extremely cold.
