Great school and very involved parents and teachers. The expectations for the students are high and the kids deliver! Much better than the schools in Texas and on a level with private school education and support.

This is a blue ribbon school. The parents are just as involved as the teachers and the community as well. The teachers are very interested in all the children as if they were their own. My 2 children are loving the schools. They enjoy going to school every day and I don't have to force them at any time. They take walks on the sunny days and get the children out in the environment, which is Great! They really focus on making our children well rounded and have the love for learning. Crime is almost non-existent here too. Many children are involved in many sports here. Soccer, basketball, swimming, baseball, and in the community all the girls are into dance classes as well. Great food programs that I don't have to worry about them eating badly. It's a small community but everyone helps make it wonderful for the children! A++++

My children have been in public schools, DOD schools as well as magnet schools and the Petersburg school system is by far the worst. Sports and activities are by popularity. Curriculum is bottom of the barrel.
