Dynamite Montessori provides an exceptional educational experience for not only toddler and primary students, but for elementary students as well. I have two children attending this school, and my oldest now has the privilege of being part of the newly structured hybrid program for upper elementary children (4th-6th grade). He learns both Montessori lessons and standard lessons, providing him with tools he will need to succeed in life. He is learning amazing things, including reading skills, math, history and advanced science. He is allowed to perform research (his favorite) on a variety of subjects that interest HIM and often impresses strangers with his knowledge. But the most important thing to me is the person he is becoming because of attending this school-a wonderful, well rounded, happy little boy who LOVES to learn and go to school! This is all done without excessive testing and homework. I recommend this school, the teachers and the owner, Ms. Paula, without reservation to any parent who is looking for a different, and in my opinion better, way for their elementary children to learn.

Our 2-year old daughter loved this school! She only attended for about four months because we moved, but within two months she was counting to 20 in Spanish. She loved her teachers Miss Jenny and Miss Mirtha. We were sad when we had to pull her from the school, because she loves learning, and she loved seeing the animals (when the weather was nice) and playing with her friends. We appreciated that the school has a large indoor play area for the children during the hot months. The classroom was spacious and had lots of activities. This school does an AMAZING job with potty training, too! A lot of our friends with 2-year olds hated potty training, but we hardly had to do anything. As parents, we always felt like our daughter was safe and cared for at Dynamite. We also love that they focus on educating our daughter, and they are not just a daycare. Thank you, Dynamite!

Dynamite Montessori is amazing! My son just finished his 3rd year in the primary class and his academic growth has been incredible (reading, cursive handwriting, addition, subtraction, multiplication and a bit of division). The teachers are highly trained and Ms. Paula is there every day, morning till night. She is readily available to answer any questions you may have. The setting is like a country school, complete with various animals, a garden, and plenty of outdoor space for children to run and play. There is a large indoor space as well, available for recess when the Arizona weather is too hot, a feature not offered by many schools. The school has a global-focus and celebrates World Peace Day and various holidays. Geography is taught extensively in the classrooms. An added and invaluable bonus is the exposure to Spanish at an early age. The Spanish-speaker in each classroom intersperses both languages throughout the day on top of the group language instruction they receive. The toddler program is exceptional AND they will potty-train your child. The elementary program provides continuity from the primary program. Complete the 3-year cycle and you will be grateful.

This school is outstanding! The director, teachers and assistants are amazing. They truly care for each other and the children. My daughter started when she was two years old in the toddler room. My husband and I immediately noticed a jump in her development in all areas. She is now a very independent 2 1/2 year old! Even potty training has been a success! I'm so excited to have found this school and can't wait to see her development over the next few years at Dynamite!

This is an outstanding institution and credentialed Montessori school. Ms. Paula, the director of the school is a professional and resiliant educator, and puts safety of the children first. She is firm, loving, and a true leader who embodies the Montesorri principles. She expects excellence from the children, and nurtures each students individual needs with care, compassion, and ease. She treats parents with respect and understanding and is readily available for discussion. Ms. Paula and staff do an outstanding job keeping us abreast of current events, activities, and updates via email, as well as verbally. The students excel both academically as well as socially, and there is no tolerance for bullying. When disagreements among students arise, they are are addressed immediately and with diplomacy. The staff are solid, reliable, loving, and show genuine care for the students. The language/arts, sports, and animal programs are outstanding. The school garden provides a tranquil area where the children grow vegetables and herbs. On field trips and social events, Dynamite Montessori children are always well received complemented on there social graces and good manners. Thank you DM!

My son has attended Dynamite Montessori for six years since he began at the age of 3. He has been given the best foundation for life that I could ever ask for. The staff has always operated in a superior academic manner as well as having a genuine and loving nature. We have come to feel as if they are our own family. Dynamite Montessori provided Ethan with skills for life such as very clear communication with teachers and fellow students, excellent reading and math comprehension and everyday skills such as cleaning, animal care and proper manners. He is walking proof of the montessori method and we get compliments all the time on his exemplary nature. I have and will always give due credit to this school, the staff and their fine works. Thank you all so much for giving him true life skills he will have forever. Sara Skinner style with teachers and fellow students

My daughter has been going Dynamite Montessori for over 5 months now. She was going to Goddard in Cave Creek prior to this school. My wife and I were worried about the transition and that she wouldn't be used to this school. After a day of being here, she had already forgot about her old school. Whenever I ask her which school she prefers, her answer is always Dynamite Montessori. She absolutely LOVES this school. The teachers are caring and friendly and they deeply care about educating the kids. The owner is there first thing int he morning when I drop my kids off at 7:30 and she's still there at 5:00 when I pick my kids up. She's always around the school engaging with the kids and available to chat whenever we need to. The ownership of this school is outstanding. I cannot recommend this school enough to other parents. My wife and I are so grateful for our kids to go to school here. A defintie 5 star school.

I have 2 children at Dynamite who started in the Primary classes and are now in the lower elementary school. Quite simply, I could not be happier with their teachers and the school community. We live in Anthem and nothing here even comes close to comparing to the education, guidance & support that they receive at Dynamite. Earlier this year, we tried a local charter school b/c it was a lot closer to us, said it was a Montessori school & b\c it was free. We learned several valuable lessons through this experience. My son's "sparkle in his eye," his confidence, self-worth and his desire for learning were rapidly diminishing at the other school. My daughter's 1st grade class was so "dumbed down" at the other school that it was insulting to how much she had already achieved at Dynamite. Through giving each child responsibility for him/her self, Dynamite is able to push each child at their own rate and to have each child raise their own expectations of him/her self. Dynamite Montessori is more than a school, it is our community and our family and we trust them with our children. To me, there is no greater compliment that a school could ever receive. My family loves Dynamite!

This school is amazing! My grandson started in preschool and is now in 3rd grade. One of the greatest gifts of Montessori style teaching is, it gives the child a love for learning. He actually looks forward to each new day! Each child is given special attention to help find their passion. They offer an extensive curriculum ranging from tennis, Spanish, Science, Arts such as Culinary, Animal husbandry, gardening, and life skills that you do not get at the public school. i highly recommend this extraordinary school. Oh by the way, my grandson also learned to play chess in Kindergarten!

My son goes to the toddler program. Both my son and i love the school. They provide a perfect caring and thriving environment for my son. The teachers in the toddler class are very caring and provide proper intellectual stimulation. My son is almost potty-trained, thanks to the teachers. I often discuss my son's progress and the teacher is more than happy to provide valuable input. The Director provides ample opportunity for parent involvement, if the parent chooses to participate. I am very happy with my son's progress and highly recommend this school.

My grandson attends Dynamite Montessori and I truly enjoy visiting his class when I can. The teachers are personable and treat each child with kindness and understanding of that child's needs. When ever I walk into a classroom it always amazes me to see the kids working independently and with smiles on their faces. My oldest grandson graduated from Dynamite Montessori last year and he is excelling in his new environment, thanks to his experiences at Dynamite Montessori.. I believe Dynamite Montessori is an extraordinary school, with an exceptional staff and I appreciate and trust them with my grandchildren's education.

We became part of the Dynamite family in 2007, when our oldest started the toddler program. She thrived in the Montessori environment, she stayed through the primary program and transitioned very well in first grade. She has continued to come for the summer Spanish immersion program and continues to feel like home at this school. There was no doubt that our youngest daughter would start the toddler program when she was ready. She has been in the program since August and also feels at home here, we adore the toddler directress. When you observe this class there is a perfect balance of learning, practical life skills, outdoor play and comfort. One of my favorite things is the way they form a very close community, sitting down together to have their meals, preparing food together and helping one another. I would without hesitation recommend Dynamite Montessori.

My son attended Dynamite Montessori and completed the 3 year program in the primary. The guide he had was one of the best I have ever known. I noticed she had a wonderful way while interacting with the children and the result was that my son learned the concepts taught very easily. Parents please remember, Montessori is for every child but not necessarily for every parent. In Montessori, the "teacher" is the guide and follows the child's interests, while in traditional schools it is dictated what the child will learn and done so on the school districts time table, NOT the childs. As far as "excessive time off" as the post below reads, Dynamite adheres to the Cave Creek district calendar. They do however offer before and after care for working parents and are more than accommodating when special situations arise with parents needing earlier or later care. As far as the director, she is professional, truly cares about the children, and is always ready to listen to the needs or concerns of parents. I would strongly recommend this school; to friends and family. Education is the greatest gift we can give our children and at Dynamite Montessori a child will no doubt receive this gift!

I am a former student of dynamite montessori and I am now a college student. When I went to Dynamite Montessori we had a very small class where education was individualized for each of us. I was very into research and the teacher at Dynamite Montessori was very encouraging of this. When I went to public school I was very prepared and I enjoyed honors classes till I graduated from High School. I accredit my success and my college scholarship to the methods I learned in Dynamite Montessori. A very good start for children who want to continue on successfully in school.

I enrolled my 2-year-old with big expectations about this place, I read all the reviews online and it looked like the perfect school. I went there, talked to the teacher and the director and they both are fine women, BUT my child hated it. He had already been in daycare since he was 9 months old, so it wasn t that he wasn t used to the setting but he would CRY incessantly every single day, I thought of giving them at least three months before pulling the plug but things never got better. The teacher was very dismissive of my child, I don t have complains about their academic content, but I m talking about a two year old, not an adult, he was treated in a cold way, and if you re a working parent like me you may get what I mean when I say that I want a school where my child is not only taught but also loved, hugged when necessary, taken care like you would do it as a parent or as a grandparent. The other thing I didn t like was their excessive time off, if you re enrolling your child, make sure you check their calendar so you re comfortable with all of the days off they take. I would not recommend this place to my friends or family.

My daughter just completed 3 years at Dynamite. The environment allows her to work her interests, and the program has her doing research that is typically seen in junior high. Our time at Dynamite is over but her results are awesome. She tested at a 6th grade level for math at the end of her 3rd grade. The Spanish program at Dynamite gave her the confidence to test and be accepted into the CCUSD spanish immersion program.

My 3 year old daughter has been going this school since August 2010 and it has been a wonderful experience for all of us. I initially did a little bit of reading about all Montessori schools available in Phoenix area and met teachers of around 5 montessories. Out of all I found excellent confidence and enthusiasm is all the teachers of Dynamite Montessori school. Especially after I met Toddlers class teacher , I felt so relieved as I found what I was searching for. Complete staff of the school are very co-operative. School had agreed for special needs for my kid.

Dynamite Montessori is a great investment for our little girl. She has been attending this school since she was 2.5 years old in Ms Megan's class. Her first year in school she thoroughly enjoyed and Ms. Megan instilled her love of going to school. She was even potty trained in this school. She is now attending her third year with Ms Leda and Ms Tina and she loves both of these teachers. My daughter loves to read ( started when she was close to 5) loves to count her numbers, knows how to add and subtract 4 digit numbers and loves to create, draw, color. She also loves the opportunity to do gardening and greet the many animals in the school ( rabbits, sheep, goats, donkey, guinea pigs)

Being the parent of a 5 and a 3 year old child in this school I have only good things to say about it. The staff, which we like to call our extended family, is very professional and show great interest in the overall well being of the children (both academically and at a personal level). Having lived in the East Coast prior to moving to Arizona, I think this school equals and exceeds the academic level of those institutions. The school is located in a beautiful area north of Phoenix, which hardly looks like part of the city. Our kids love the interaction they have with nature on a daily basis; learning becomes more of an adventure every day. I absolutely recommend this school without reserve.

My son is about to turn 4 and has been attending this school for just under a year. In that time he has learned to write his letters and numbers, recognize and name each of the 50 states, and do some basic math too! All before even being old enough for kindergarden. I am proud of my boy and thrilled with the teaching at Dynamite Montessori.

Our children have been attending Dynamite Montessori for over 4 years and in that time we have seen amazing transformations. Our children have not only grown academically, they have grown emotionally and socially. The entire faculty is focused on the total development of each child so they can grow individually while being part of a family. We have a tremendous amount of respect for what goes on everyday at Dynamite Montessori and we are privileged to have been a part of it and our children will forever be better because of it. My son is in his 3rd year at Dynamite and he is thriving! He is reading well and is not quite 5 years old. He very much enjoys school and I attribute that to the teachers & the positive environment. He is able to work at his skill level & the school always has new ways to challenge him. I feel that he's getting a very balanced experience at Dynamite. I'm very much looking forward to sending my toddler there next year!

Teachers are just wonderful, Ms Megan the toddler teacher is amazing, I was amazed how well she handles the situation in that class, amazingly patient and calm with the kids but yet firm in her own way when needed. I am happy with the primary class also 2 of the teachers there have been my older daughters teachers at one point, Ms Tina, Ms Dipali and Ms Ieda are just wonderful. This is a fabulous school. Both my boys have attended this school since they were 3. My oldest child is by age a 2nd grader however his AIMS testing shows he's a anywhere from a 3rd grader to a 6th grader in various subjects. He has become an independant individual and respects others. My youngest is suppose to be in Kindergarten, however is easily doing 1st and 2nd grade work. The older children teach the younger ones, giving them the ability to be leaders while caring for another. The experiences afforded to these children are vast; gardening, sports, art projects, symphonies, botanical gardens, recycling plant and hikes in the surrounding desert. I highly recommend this school.

Our daughter is in the first grade this year (08-09). She is coming from bilingual family and she is challenged by having to learn two languages at the same time. That means most of her English is being learnt at school. Her teachers are exceptional. We can see her reading, spelling and writing improving rapidly. She loves to do research projects. She learns without even noticing she does! We love that she get a lot of spanish too. The morning sport program is such a wonderful idea. She hurries us out of the door in the morning not to miss her dance class. She got lessons in soccer and tennis too. The kids get to take trips to symphony, library, they go hiking. And of course our daughter loves the animals, that she has an opportunity to observe and take care of at school.

This school is fantastic!! My children have attended Dynamite Montessori for years now and still love it. They are exited to go to school every morning! They think that going to school each day is like going on a new adventure. Students of all ages experience such a rich, layered curriculum at Dynamite Montessori. The teachers are so nuturing and seem as though they really care about each childs individual needs. I feel good about brining my kids to school each morning. The school grounds are nestled into a little bit of paradise. Quiet and serene. My kids enjoy visiting the many farm animals and organic garden on their nature walks. From the rich curriculum, exceptional teachers, beautiful school grounds this school has it all. I would defintely recommend it!!

The director, principal, teachers, administrator, assistants, and facility at Dynamite Montessori are all TERRIFIC! We have been extremely satisfied with all aspects of Dynamite Montessori. We currently have two children enrolled, with another two to follow, and are thankful for Dynamite Montessori. We did a great deal of research (including the county inspection reports), visited many schools, and met with each of the principals finding that Dynamite Montessori was definitely the best of the best! Thank you Dynamite Montessori for your dedication, commitment and devotion, kindness, generosity, and loving care of our children and their education!

Excellent School. High standards, well-trained and educated teachers, exceptional curriculum! I could not be more impressed with a school. My son, 7 and daughter, 4 both attend Dynamite and have gotten so much out of it. They have grown into self sufficient, eager to learn, loving children and I credit Dynamite for much of this. Our child has attended Dynamite from grade 1-3 so far (coming from a Montessori preschool previously). Dynamite has an incredibly rich curriculum for the elementary students. From child-directed (and written) play performances, detailed research projects, regular hiking in our amazing valley, and a large number of sports activities, the exposure is wonderful. One of the best parts of the elementary program is if a student has a true interest for a specific subject, they are not only allowed but encouraged to dig in . That allowed flexibility, in my opinion, is what keeps kids loving school and loving to learn. There is no squashing of the passion, just because it didn t fit in with the required curriculum. Not only are these spontaneous learning events allowed, but somehow they manage to teach all the required information (reading, math, science, etc.) and then some. Our child is far above the age/grade level in all areas. The elementary teachers, classroom assistants and administration have all been wonderful in promptly addressing any questions we have ever had. Parents are always welcome at the school. In fact, they are highly encouraged to be involved. Many talented parents have offered their help with subjects/projects and as long as it is for the good of the students, they have been allowed. It really feels as if it is a true community not just a school. I don t think we could have made a better choice of schools. I am very thankful for the wonderful learning opportunities our daughter has had thus far.

Our four years of experience with Dynamite Montessori has been nothing short of wonderful. My oldest son completed the Dynamite Montessori elementary program prepared to face middle school's challenges with the tools to be successful. He was prepared academically and had acquired skills necessary to communicate with his teachers and school staff. My other son is currently enrolled with Dynamite Montessori elementary. Our plan is to have him complete the elementary program. (3 more years) I find the staff at Dynamite to be kind, efficient, thoughtful and considerate of my children's well being. My children are treated with respect at all times. Disputes are handled in a timely manner and resolved quickly. I appreciate the extracurricular activities offered through the school. I only wish that Dynamite Montessori was offered through high school. Thank you Dynamite Montessori staff for such a wonderful, and safe learning experience for my children.

My daughter has attended Dynamite Montessori for 5 years now. Each class room has had the most diverse, interesting and inspiring teachers. The school is tucked away in nature with organic gardens, animals, and wide open space. Each class offers a spanish teacher and a creative way to learning. We have had a great deal of fun with the gatherings for special holidays. We eat together, camp together and work together. It has been a super experience for myself and my daughter.

My daughter has been in the primary class for two years now (it's a 3 year program) and is excelling. She was a very early reader and identified as gifted, and I couldn't be happier with the differentiated learning and her excitement of the work that she does. Ms. Lety and the administration have been very open and interested in adapting the (already differentiated - since it's Montessori) curriculum to challenge her particularly in writing and math. She is 4 now, and brings home storybooks she's written, and is doing thousands math addition, and writes the most beautiful cursive I've ever seen! The best part of Dynamite Montessori is that it really seems that the students understand that they are a citizen of a larger world.

My son has been at Dynamite Montessori since he was 3 years old. He is now 7 years old and loves it there. He thrives in the wonderful learning invironment and has grown in his social skills with other children & adults. Both the primary & elementary programs are traditional Montessori and are done very well. There is quite a bit of Spanish, which the kids pick up easily usually without evening realizing it. They have a good music program, lots of live animals, tennis, soccer, basketball, art programs, dance, and others. Their educational program is outstanding. Paula, the owner, mentor & elemtary teacher, is wonderful with the students & has a refreshing insight on child behavior. I have never had a problem with any other parent being rude, but I'm also a pretty easy going person and wouldn't take offense to someone having a bad day now and then.

We had our child in this school for two years and enjoyed much of the time that we spent there. They had lots of parent involvement and extracurricular activities for the children. However, the last half of the second school year they had many parent 'volunteers' that started to make the school go downhill very quickly. They were extremely rude on many occasions, to the point I didn't even want to bring my child to school so that I could avoid these moms. I do think the primary program has wonderful teachers, although they seem to switch them too often confusing the children. The elemetary teachers does not communicate very well and has a hard time keeping the children on track. Overall, I think that it is a good education for any child but not worth all of the hassles that come along with it.

My oldest son is at Dynamite and loves every minute of it! He has been in Montessori (at another school) since three and is thriving. Not only do they have immersion Spanish (almost all instructors speak fluently), they also have typing, and music. They receive weekly tennis lessons and play soccer, football, and basketball regularly. Parent involvement is huge! As with most Montessori programs, parents are encouraged to participate. Dynamite offers every parent to participate at their own pace. That is huge in my book as I am a small business owner and my time is limited. I highly recommend Dynamite for any elementary aged child who is looking for an excellent Montessori program. They are the best! The tuition is so worth it!

My son loves this school and so do I! It offers immersion Spanish, a variety of sports, including golf, tennis, soccer, and martial arts and my son also takes guitar and piano at the school. The families are invited to participate in camping trips twice a year and the students go on monthly hikes. The academics have been great. The school principal has communicated openly with us and has asked for feedback and participation in creating a great school environment. It has been worth the tuition!

We have been happy with the school. They are especially strong in extracurricular activities on campus. Parent involvement is generally strong with many activities outside of the classroom. Learning is in the Montessori tradition. Spanish is also taught starting at a young age.
