Weinberg Elementary School

We have attended three different CUSD schools and Weinberg is by far the best in every aspect. Mr. Shelly, the principal, is very approchable and attentive. I feel like he really tries to get to know each student on a personal level and the teachers seem to work well with him. We have 3 children attending and every teacher we have had has been terrific! The office staff is outstanding and the campus is beautiful!

This is our first year at Weinberg and don't have enough good things to say. I don't live in the CUSD district but was lucky enough to receive admission during open enrollment for all three of my kids. The principle is involved and is great with the kids. I love my sons teacher, Courtney Hoffmeyer (4th grade). She has been the best we have ever had. I see the kids being challenged and teacher who care about their academic and readiness for the next grade. Great job, Weinberg!

Hi I have been at weinberg since 1st grade and I lovee this school.I always enjoy having Mr. Walters around beacuse he always has enough creativity to fill the whole entire world! The only thing is some teachers are the meanest people ever like a lady who teaches 5th grade named Ms.Kaufman, she is so rude even my mom hates, also a lunch lady named patty. Other than that though everyone there is a joy thanks for reading my comment byee!!

We love Weinberg! We have been at Weinberg since 2007 and have loved every day of it. All 3 of my children have had a great experience and have felt that the teachers and administration were very interested in their success. This year I will have a 6th gader and a 2nd grader and I am very much looking forward to what they will accomplish. Mr.Walters is a wonderful principal who knows the kids at his school. His positive attitude and commitment is evident throughout the teachers and staff. I'm very grateful my kids have been able to go to such a great school.

My son has been here for 3 years, K-2nd and we love it! He is in the special education classroom and the teachers/aides are wonderful! He has improved so much and loves his friends. I'm also happy that they integrate him with other 2nd grade classes as well! Everyone is very kind and extremely supportive.

My children have attended Weinberg for the past 5 years. We love the school, teachers, and office staff! Four of my children have attended Weinberg and in all these years every teacher has been wonderful and easy to work with! I feel that my children are pushed to excel in academics and that the teachers go above and beyond to ensure that each child gets the best education. Weinberg is a great school!

This is my daughter's second year at Weinberg. She is very bright and loves to read and write. Her Kindergarten teacher ensured she was always challenged in class and sent home first grade homework to keep her from getting bored. The teachers are very enthusiastic so far and the principal is very involved. My daughter loves going to school and enjoys the on site before and after school program.

My daughter attended Weinberg her kindergarten year going from CTA and hating school to Weinberg and loving it. She's very excited to return for First Grade. I'm grateful to her teacher Mrs. Sessions for all her hard work and efforts that she put into my daughter. Mrs. Sessions did a wonderful job We will miss her.

Weinberg is a good school that's dedicated to their kids. I like how Weinberg involves the parents in their childs education. Mr. Walters is a hands on principal that has exceeded my expectations of an elementary school principal. Thanks you for that!

We just moved here from out of state right before spring break. My kids have done exceptionally well with the transistion due to the help of their teachers. Mr. Walters welcomed them the first day, and both my kids think it is so cool that he will sometimes eat lunch with the students on Fridays.

Our family has had a very good year at Weinberg Elementary. Our son has advanced in education with Mrs. Kaufman his fifth grade teacher. Mr. Walters is a hands on prinicpal and I strongly believe that's what makes our school so great. Great Job Mr. Walters!

We love Weinberg! When the district reworked boundaries, we bought a house and moved to stay in the Weinberg boundary. My son has had exceptional teachers and Mr. Walters is an example to all principals of what is like to be 'hands on' and care for the children under your watch. The office staff, nurse, counselor, etc. are all first-rate in their work ethic and their personal demeanor. I wish we could stay there through high school!

My 3 older children went to a different elementary school in the Chandler Unified School District,, and I have to say that Weinberg has been such a refreshing change! The parent involvement and the principal and his love for the children attending 'his' school are to be commended!Even my little 6 year old comments on what a 'cool' man Mr. Walters is! I as a parent love to see that Mr. Walters is a 'hands on' principal and he genuinely cares about the students at his school.

My daughter likes this school every much. My daughter is in Kindergarten this year. Mrs. Steingraber, her teacher is a caring and an excellent teacher. Mrs. Steingraber is great in communicating with us about our daughter's learning. My daughter is at advance level in both reading and Math. She works hard to ensure that my daughter learns more beside the Kindergarten curriculum. The other Kindergarten teachers and the rest of the Weinberg Staffs are also very friendly and helpful. Mr. Joe Walter seems to be very friendly to the students. School is almost over. Thanks to Mrs. Steingraber and the Staffs of the Weinberg Elementary school for giving my daughter a wonderful experience in her Kindergarten year. A well done year! Way to go Weinberg!

This is a great school and the teachers work very hard to make it the best for the students, they really care. Mr. Walters is a wonderful principal and I see him interact with the students and faculty every time I am there. He is very interested in what is going on within his school and his students. At Weinberg Elementary the front office Staff is good. While, attending a couple of pickups with my child. I believe children should give the appropriate response and time needed to full fill there questions. One of the I.T. personnel has an aggressive and uneasy approach when answering the phone or a child has a question. We all have tough days and I believe we should all maintain our professionalism even when our days can be overwhelming or we don't have the patience. Mr. Walters is a Wonderful Principal and we will see him again, next year! Good job, Mr. Walters!

Mr. Walters has been a great principal. He has taken time to talk to me on several occasions about the kids and teacher choices. He is very caring and constantly around. I see him on campus walking and visiting with teachers or students. He really cares for the staff, students and parents in his school. Thank you Mr Walters. We really appreciate you.
