Bright Beginnings School #1
Develops honesty: Strongly agree

I disagree with the type of discipline they use at the kindergarten level. They tell the child to move their magnet from the green chalkboard to the yellow and then to the red chalkboard. They aren't clear with the child why they are moving their magnet and at the end of the day, if they stay on the green they get a low quality xerox copy of an animal. This is a shame and reward based system that is absolutely ineffective at teaching the children any values of behavior at a sincere level.

These teachers are so dedicated and passionate about what they do. Many of them I know spend hours at home working on their lessons and/or attending events to support their students even when it is outside of school.

Teachers expect a lot students, but they also work hard to help students become successful.

Teachers do a great job of discussing the importance of character education. Students can be nominated when showing great character.

My son is in Pre-K at BBS this year and has had an amazing experience. He is exposed to so many things, from amazing science experiments and songs, to chocolate playdough and baby chicks. His teachers work so hard to make lessons come to life and it is noticed. We are very lucky to have him here and can't wait to see what's next.

My child will excel because he works hard and had a living and supportive home environment. We will seek different educators to ensure he thrives.

The teachers are rude, incompetent and arrogant. They refuse to see areas of opportunity or to attempt to improve.

Amount of homework: Not enough

Writing a few words three times each by the end of an entire week doesn't help a student at home understand the importance of working hard to learn.

They care only about money contributed from parents. They don't care about the students accomplishments unless they have a sponsor bringing in money.

Develops respect: Strongly disagree

They disrespect parents in front of the students on a regular basis. They don't understand the time or place to discuss things and they lack respect themselves when communicating.
