Heritage Middle School

I do not like this school at all. The office staff are rude and most of the teachers are not teaching the children anything. I wish they had a dance team for my 15 year old daughter. She went through 2 years of stress trying to get a dance team they said was 'possible' Please do not put your child through this school.

My middle child has just started sixth grade this school year 06-07 and I found the whole staff to be very helpful and courtious with my child. Thanks to them and keep up the great work.

This school has an excellent band program with an extremely dedicated and encouraging band leader. There is also a large emphasis on sports. Unfortunately, this has led to a bullying problem for the children not involved with sports, or who decide to stop participation in sports.

My daughter will graduate from HMS at the end of the 2005 school year. We are very satisfied with the school. She has excelled and has found the school to be a good school. The band program, under Mr. Sprague, is excellent. We do wish art class was made more readily available- it is only available as a 'spoke', a temporary rotating class. Her teachers are good, and the school's report card rating just keeps improving.

My son only went there for about a month while we were on vacation from school in Panama City, Panama. But I was very impressed with the administration and teachers there. I know that they have excellent extra curricular music and sports, although my son didn't have much of an opportunity to participate. Excellent public school! Would send my children there anytime!

Heritage Middle School is a great school. You get to play great sports, but only if your grades are good. The teachers are fantastic. To make up tests you can come before, during, or after school to make them up.

I'm very pleased with this school. The teachers work in a team approach. I have had two children attend this school. The music program is outstanding. My son is in resource and has had exceptional help from his teachers.

I have had a lot of trouble with my son this year, and the above teachers have done everything in their power to help us through all of this. I believe they are the best of the best and we should be proud to have them as our teachers.
