Love this school. I have two children that are attending this school now and they are both excelling. The classes are normal size for a public school creating healthy competition. A great skill for the "real world".

I have a 1st grader and Kindergartner at this school. Both of their teachers have been available, involved and engaged in the progress of both of my kids. I am pleased with the school overall but the lack of funding does limit some of the extra curricular activities available. The PTO is the best I have ever encountered.

We have two children at Desert Mountain School, one in 3rd grade with Mrs. Wilson and one in kindergarten with Mrs. Holt. We are very pleased with their progress and absolutely love their teachers. Mrs Kestner was the substitute for the first 3 months and went above and beyond!!!! We really are happy at Desert Mountain and the PTO is outstanding. With dedicated parents we can do a lot.

my daughter has attended this school for 3 years. Thanks to the teachers, she excells in her 5th grade class and feels good about herself. As a parent, I could not be happier. Her music teacher even makes her feel like she can be a musician , even though she makes the trumpet sound like a sick moose!

My son and daughter both attend this school and we love it. The teachers are very helpful and caring people. My son had Mrs. Vanderham last year and she is wonderful. She has a very creative way of teaching and I really enjoyed helping in the class when i could.

I've been going to this school since 3rd grade, and ive got to say i've been pleased with the school ever since. i never really had very many problems with the school and its staff. The teachers find different and exicting ways to help us learn, i'm currently going into 8th grade now and i'm looking foward to my last year.

VERY pleased with the school overall. My daugher is in kindergarten and Mrs. De La Cruz is a WONDERFUL teacher! I volunteer on campus occasionally and have been very impressed with the campus overall. The class size is a bit large (24) for kindergarten, but I think that is pretty much the norm in Arizona. Lots of cool extra curricular activites like theme-night parties on campus where the whole family is encouraged to participate....very well planned out....great PTO!

Loved the Desert Mountain Fall Festival, Lots of new things, which is great. Magic show was terrific. Things just keep getting better every year. My son loves his teacher and there is always something new going on. We think we are in the best school in the area.

We have just been so happy with our 1st graders teacher. So organized for example, when our little girl came home from her first day of school the information the teacher put together was amazing, we received a business card with her cell phone number, email address, laminated, and a magnet glued to it. To me this reveals a concern teacher and she has not disappointed.

My childs' teacher at Desert Mountain is terrific. I have had 3 children go through this school,by far Mrs.Goldblatt is the best teacher I have came in contact with. My child has learned so much this year. I am very impressed, my child loves her and is excited to see her everyday. My child came to this school very quiet and shy. Her teacher seemed to make her feel welcome and secure. She allows the children to be proud of you they are. I have been in there many times and it is a happy place for children. This school seems to have many great new teachers. The office staff is very nice. My children love the new principal! Its a great school all in all!
