This is a really good school. Caring staff, excellent teachers. Nice new building. They also have a nice Dome and a beautiful campus.

I find it amazing that this school district is always complaining about not having the money to add more teachers to the ranks in order to lower the student to teacher ratio. The high school has eliminated elective credit classes every year citing lack of funds. Yet, the district can somehow spend over 1 million dollars to buy new turf for the football field in the dome. The best part is now the district is going for a 10 million dollar bond stating they need the money to upgrade the building facilities. The buildings didn't run down overnight, yet planning for the future is not in their vocabulary. Spend today and ask for more tomorrow is the best way to summarize this district.

I appreciate the effort RVHS staff and administration is making to increase academic expectations. I feel if we expect more of our children, they will rise to meet those expectations.

I am disappointed by the quality of teaching in this school. My husband and I have decided that it is best to move to another town so that our sons will have the opportunity to get the kind of education they deserve and that we pay our taxes for.
