Interesting that one person claims its a schools fault for their lack of success in life. There have been many from VUHS who have gone on to work for fortune 500 and 100 companies. These students attribute their success to the disciplines that were instilled early on in their education at Elfrida Elementary and VUHS. I being one of them.

Note: i am not a parent, student. I attended valley union my senior year in high school and have a few things to say. the school does very well for what it is. They do not have very many opportunities because of the size but the teachers love the students and really try to help. They also have one of the AIMS (AZ standardized testing) scoring overall in the state. Please note i went there and with assistances they provided i am not a full ride scholarship from the AIMS testing. Good school.

My education at Valley Union high school prepared me to work at a gas station. Not really, but thats the little that I got out of the school. I currently attend Northern Arizona University and struggle to keep up. I am learning now what other students refer to as 'review'. I attended Valley Union for three years and never once was required to take a Biology course. I recently passed Biology here with a C. My peers couldn't beleive that I never had to take a Bio course!

I am a student here at VUHS and I have been here for two years now. I am going into my third year and have found VHUS to bve a very good place to learn. The student to teacher ratio is very good. You are more likely to get one on one attention with the teacher here. This place also has a very good atmosphere. The extra curriculars are very good here. We have very good coaches and a very good music teacher. I love VHUS because it is a very small school but with such good people.

I attened Valley Union as did my sister and my son. I think Valley Union is a decent school for the most part. Academically, I think Valley Union is fine.

Parents, I am a 9th grader here at Valley Union High School. And from my experence here so far, I am really glad that my mom has let me come here. I had been homeschooled for most of my life and I really enjoy being here and that I am able to attend. The extra curricular activities here are very, very good. I am currently enroled in the Agriculture program which includes me to be in FFA which is a very good program. I have been elected the tresure of the the FFA and I think it has made me a better student. I have had the oppourtunity to talk to alot of the teachers andi think that your kids would really benifit from, this school.

I had a son in Valley Union High School for the 2001-2002 school year. The Teachers were good, but other then that, the school is not that great. So if you want good teachers it is a good school, but if you care about your child's safety, do not send them to that school.
