I am a 7th grader at Mesquite Junior High. All of my teachers are great. They all helped me with anything I needed. I felt comfortable with all of them. If something didn't seem right with my grade, it was easy to go up to them and ask about it. They would always explain why I got the grade that I got, or fix a mistake that they made. Not only that, but all the teachers care about the students personal lives as well. They all help me get to where I am with 4.286 grade average!!!

Didn't care for this school. Our son had special needs and we feel like he really got lost in this school. Its also very "ghetto"-a lot of gang and drug issues even in 7th grade. Happy to be out.

Great school. I'm currently a 7th grader there. My teachers are great except a few. Love playing sports there and traveling on the bus to play soccer at the other schools. Pretty tough school, but way better and a bigger difference than elementary school.

This school is certainly not the best I have seen. The students have very little homework and do not even have to study at home. The school campus looks nice but the education is bad. The students do not even understand the concept of going home and working on school work. Gilbert Classical Academy is way better. The students there know what they are doing.

I am currently an 8th grader at MJHS. It is a great school. The teachers are nice(mostly all exept a few). I have a lot of great, good, and close friends there. We always have a fun great time there. Our sports are excellent. We are exellent in mostly every sport. I am a cheerleader there, and its sio much fun. Its sad that this is my last year at MJHS, but this school is really great and fun:):):)

I graduated from MJHS in 07. Must I say, it was the best years of my school life so far! As I am currently a student a MHS. I have all likes about this school, with very few dislikes. Teachers AWESOME! Most Teachers here actaully care about students academic and private lives, which is VERY rare in such a big town like gilbert! In my 8th grade year, there was controversy at MJHS because of two teachers (those of you students remember hearing how the office doesn't want the teachers talking to Mr. Izzet, they only want them talking to Mr. Yee). Overall I loved everything about MJHS except how most of the Office Admin were very snappy at ALL students and most teachers. Junior high so far has been the best years of my life!

im an 8th grade student here and this school is okay.. the teachers are iffy some are supper strict im not say whoo but if you go there you know who the meanest is and we all would agree on that haha but then there are the supper nice teachers like Ms Evans, Mr, Moeller Ms Blasdale ect that are nice. the construction i guess is okay they really didnt add a whole lot just like this tunnel part and the new spirit store nothing special. but they did get rid of portables!! but what is the best is after winter break we had new computers no more slow macs new like widescreean huge monitor PC's amd WIFI!!! i think think thats the best part the computers and wifi way better than the constuction. but to the person who said they have no dress code.they do..its harsh ive been dresscoded befoere

I am an eighth grade student at MJHS and I really love this school! There are tons of clubs that you can join and the staff are very friendly. Plus, now that the construction is coming to a close the campus looks great, and I definetly think that all of that construction was worth it!
