My family loves Grace! The teachers are very caring. This is a small school so the principle knows all of the children and all of the students families. The teachers are excellent! My sons are excelling in their studies and are in a very caring environment. My family are not Wisconsin Lutherans, but we have never felt like outsiders or uncomfortable at the school. I highly recommend this school!

Grace is an established school - suggesting stability. The principal, Mr. Brenner is the best. It is a K-8 school, with good academic programs. Elementary extracurricular activities are mainly limited to the homeroom teacher, although I observed many teachers share their expertise. The sense of community in this small(er) school setting is very comforting - children being greeted by either a pastor and the principal, parents visiting before and after school. Teachers are very accessible, and students seem well adjusted and happy. Christian religious classes are taught, and I believe most traditional Christian faiths would be happy there. Obviously there are things that a small school cannot offer, but many other things they can provide - one being small class size, another being wonderful school presentations, where children/parents come together. And although it cannot meet everyone's needs, it is well worth considering.

Grace Lutheran School has provided both of my children academics that are challenging, teachers that are nurturing all in a Christian atmosphere and setting. The teaching of strong Christian values has also developed character traits such as, honesty, integrity, forgiveness, kindness and other God-pleasing habits. All of this elementary education is under the thoughtful, loving and highly trained care of the dedicated teachers who make up the staff at Grace. My oldest, is a graduate of Grace, my youngest, a 4th grader, for both of them Grace Lutheran Grade School has made a difference in their young lives, not only now, but for eternity!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
