This school is wonderful! My daughter is in kindergarten and has learned to read already! She really enjoys the technology class and I am thrilled she has the opportuinity to learn typing and computer skills at such a young age. The front office staff is very friendly and always willing and able to answer questions. The teachers and support staff are very professional and really seem to have the students learning as their number one priority! I am very please with the education my daughter is receiving and plan to keep her at Carden for the remainder of her elementary education.
This is a woderful school. my children are getting a private school education only I don't have to pay thousands of dollars. My son learned to read last year in kindergraden and now reads to his little brothers. He writes very well and has been writing letters all summer to family. He got awarded the math genius award last year. All the teachers are wonderful and they keep you posted on your childs progress. You see the principle every day and she always has time to talk with a student or parent. Education is very important to me and I plan to keep my children in Carden School.
The quality of academics is superb. I know my child is receiving a top rate education. The Carden Traditional school is wonderful and the leadership is wonderful. Teachers are happy and everyone is working together to help the children succeed.
I have been teaching and learning at Carden Traditional School for five years. With a B.A. in Early Childhood Education, a Masters in Elementary Education, a Reading Specialist Endorsement, and a Provisional ESL Endorsement, I feel qualified to meet the challenges of a classroom. I appreciate the small class sizes and the comfortable educational environment the school maintains. It's a wonderful place! Come learn and grow with me.
This is my first year with carden and I couldn't be more satisfied, we been looking for a safe place ,with good education for our kids, So far, so good! Great teachers, great Principal and a safe atmosphere for my kids, my son loves the school so next year, another of my kids will join the Carden family
I have four children here they have all done well this year. The Staff and teachers are great. Looking forward to many more years with Carden
I have been a tracher for many years, at many schools. I believe that Carden has the right philosophy to educate its students.
We will soon be approaching our 3rd year at Carden and I definitely recommend the school to everyone I know. From their before/after care program to classroom time, the students receive a balanced day of learning and activity. The teachers and staff genuinely care about the students education and well-being. Is there room for improvement? Sure. But, most organizations (especially schools) can not claim perfection. I am a proud Carden parent!!!
I love this school and I went to this school since first grade and since it has ever opened. The staff there are very welcoming and the teachers there are extremely kind. I am a ninth grader now and since this school stops I did have to go to another school but I still come back for occasional visits and it always puts a smile on my face when I see the teachers that I have grown up with in school. They will always hold a place in my heart. So that is why if you are a parent looking for a school for your child to go to that you think your child will like ... I would most definitly choose this school.
The lack of consistency at this school is apparent, with the lack of communication and participation. Some really good teachers but they lack the necessary materials and resources to fully teach to the standards. The textbooks are outdated, not all students have their own textbooks and many of the core classes are lacking curriculum. Teachers seem unhappy and over worked. Not sure why 5th grade is considered middle school. Staff can be abrasive and short, front office personnel act unprofessional and I often heard them make comments that were inappropriate about staff members in front of myself and students.
