Desert Spirit

Both of my children go to DS and I love it. they are attending thier second year there grades 3 and 6. I have found the teachers and staff so supportive and great. My family is a military one and have move around the country, this may be the cause for my oldest learning problems. he was behind the rest of the students in his class last year when he first came to desert spirit. his read and math skill were bad to say the least. he even had a IEP set up from his former school, but now hes excelling in all areas . his reading level is now that of a 8th grader. I am so happy with the attencion the teacher gave him they encouraged him to be the best he could be. and my youngest is getting the help she need. the teachers really care.

The principal and the staff are very understanding and supportive. My first teaching experience was at this school and I learned so much. I had great students and even they taught me a thing or two. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking in the area.

Both of my daughters go to Desert Spirit, 2nd & 8th grade. I am saddened by the review I am about to give. I am concerned that there is not enough structure and dicipline coming from students as well as faculty. I am truly concerned for our childrens most influential years.
